The End of the Marathon

After slogging back to the hotel- we refreshed ourselves for a moment and headed back out for a little more touristy fun. We hit up a Wax Museum (I’m not sure why).It was the worst wax museum in the world. But we still had fun.

299 303 304 Next up- a 6D movie experience. Whatever that means. You sit in these chairs with the 3D glasses- the movie starts and your chair jerks you all around and wind blows at you and you feel like you are part of the movie. Alec made it through just find but it shook you so much I thought he might go flying out of the seat even with the seat belt on.

And them we (they) played some video games.

314 318 319 327 328 And then some ghost ride that you shoot the ghosts. Think Buzz Lightyear ride in Disney.  It was fun,

330 And last, but not least, Dino mini-golf. Erik had never had the pleasure of playing with Alec before. It is an experience. Alec plays mini-golf like a hockey player. It’s pretty funny. And the little bugger still managed to get a hole in 1. Erik only beat me by 1 point. Not too shabby.

By the time we were done with all this touristy stuff we realized we should check the time.Being farther west- the sun sets later and so we really were not paying attention.  It was around 10:30. Yikes. Time to hit the sack so we could get up at the crack of dawn to drive the 10 + hours home and get ready for our next adventure.
