One last day

This Labor Day weekend we went to the beach one last time for the summer season. The weather wasn’t perfect but it didn’t matter. What mattered was making the most of time together and having some fun.

It was more crowded than my pictures show…..

And there was a bit of chop so the suffers came out.

 

It is a bittersweet feeling- this end of summer.  While happy to be moving on to a new school year and more fun things- I just wish the weather would stay a bit longer. Although I do enjoy the changing of leaves, apple picking, and fall hiking; I am not ready for sweaters, boots and snow pants. It feels like we just shed them and now the cold weather train is barreling out of control directly at us.

Sigh.

I mean yay.

A few weeks ago we had a visit from the BFF and her family. *sigh* Wishing she lived closer.

Palace Playland

A posting a little late but better than never (it’s a theme…you just don’t know it! ) We tried 3 different times to visit Palace Playland with Leo and family. The first 2 times were rained out. We hit the jackpot on the 3rd try. Beautiful weather all night long. The boys had a blast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The boys went through the fun house (no joke) at the very least 20 times. Seriously. Over and over and over and over.

Going to Palace Playland has spoiled Alec.  It seems as though whenever we go it is not very busy so they don’t have to wait in long lines.  This does not bode well for future Disney trips.
