Alec (and I and Erik) are embracing every chance we can to be with my parents while they visit. Especially all things outside. All these thoughts, ideas, plans we talk about on the phone during the cold yucky months-waiting for them to come, waiting on the sun and the warmth to embrace us so we can put these ideas in motion. A bucket list of sorts.
An item on the bucket list?
Fishing.
My dad took Alec fishing the other day in our little pond.
They had no trouble catching anything. As soon as they cast the line – they would pretty much get a bite. Those large mouth bass are hungry little critters. We heard lots of frogs and were going to try to catch them but we just couldn’t see them!
