What a great weekend it was! I usually reserve my “great weekend” status for when we travel some place and do something fun not for when we are at home hanging out but we had two sets of visitors and it was great! I heart summer for this very reason. People we don’t see often come to see us in the summer months.
So, not only did we have the Rutherford’s here for the weekend but my dear friend Amy who, incidentally, has the lucky title of being my 1st friend when we moved to Maine and her boys stopped in for a while on Sunday afternoon. It was not nearly long enough for all the catching up we needed to do. We seem to always miss each other…when I head north she heads south. But this time the planets aligned and it was fun!
Here are a few pictures (with a few explanations) of why it was so great…
Colin reading Alec stories while hiding under the blankets.
Julie. We hashed. It was great.
The boys snuggling while watching a movie. Or they toppled over from the sugar high of too many donuts and donut holes!
The men putting mirrors and the lights that go above them up in my master bathroom! Yee haw!
Police officer Alec handcuffing Amy for driving 3 when she should have been driving 1. She got arrested, by the way, and was led off to jail (screen porch).
Tim was a super cute spidy! I missed a picture of firemen Nick. He was hard at work. (Amy and I were too busy chatting to take many pictures..crazy for both of us!)
Little boys who used their imaginations and played cars.
Awesome weekend.
