T-Ball started last week. Hurrah. Not. It’s pretty easy on the blog to make everything seem so happy and fun. This, my friends, was not so fun. It was cold and it was early Saturday morning. We couldn’t find his glove. The irritating irony of this was that a few days before I had set it on a shelf in the garage where I would know where it was so we could grab it when it was time to leave. Completely missing. It took Alec until late Sunday afternoon to remember that he had left it next door when he and John had been playing. Of course he remembered this after I had pretty much spent hours looking everywhere for it. Best laid plans….
The kids were good sports and happy to be reunited. They no longer see each other at gymnastics anymore so it is nice we got them placed on the same team.
The grown-ups? We were happy to be reunited as well.
I will say that the first day of rec tball went much better than the first day of rec soccer- Alec was less nervous since he had McKenna and Kiley on his team.
Unless the weather gets better (warmer and drier)…it might just be a long season.

Is there anything cuter than little kids getting together to try to do sports? I think not!
