We took a family trip to New Hampshire to visit Story Land on Saturday. It was on my list of summer things to do with Alec. Technically it’s still summer for a few more days so we made it. Yeah! Alec and I both have never been there before. Erik went when he was a child. We probably should have waited a few weeks for fall. The trees would have been beautiful on the drive up. You can just start to see the hint of change.

We were walking through park and Alec had decided he wanted to go on the “fast train”. So we all gave it a try.

And he loved it. He promptly asked to go again. He and Erik went again. I tried to get a photo.

A neat thing happened as we were leaving the park; we ran into our friends Jen and Terry and their daughter Maria. Jen and I use to coach together during my stint as a swim coach….it has been a year since we have seen each other. It was very cool to catch up as we were walking out. Hope it’s not another year until we see each other again.
