The Macy’s Bag

When Nana shows up at our house with a Macy’s bag in hand Alec usually just groans “ugh…more clothes”.  Alec has little interest in clothes.   We’ve trained him to thank her –hopefully with some grace. Nana good naturedly laughs it off and usually makes a comment to Alec along the lines of “I bet you wish I worked in a toy store instead of a clothes store”.

But when these babies arrived –the tags were off in less than 10 seconds and she got one of the biggest hugs I bet she has ever gotten from him.

I guess good things can come in a Macy’s bag after all!
