The Last of THEM, I hope…

Snow days that is….

We had one last week.

And the week before.

So, being the fun mom I am, I let him watch a ton of tv. That’s fun, right? A few hours later I pulled the plug on it but not before I had chatted on the phone, paid bills and had my own internet time. It was a win-win.

But then…what to do?

We pulled out the paints.

He got to work – immediately painting “a volcano that erupted millions of years ago to form the soil for the grand canyon. Then there was a river than ran through it was washed the soil away. Some of the animals died and there are fossils…like blowfish”.

I painted an Easter Egg. Not nearly as exciting.

Then we pulled out the play dough.

But, because nothing is ever simple, the play dough was involved in a fire and the emergency vehicles had to rescue it.

Everyone got out safe and sound.

Not how I played with play dough in the past but whatever keeps him happy and entertained.

That’s how we passed the day.

Alec is so sick of snow and snow days that he never even asked to go outside.

Bless him.
