Even while dad’s away

Alec still plays.

I think Alec was feeling a tad bit lonely for his dad one night because he asked if he could show me dad’s pinball machines. (Seriously? As if I am not painfully aware of every machine …) Alec and Erik spent quite a bit of time together in the basement and I think he was hoping that maybe, just maybe, mom could fill the void. I am not sure I did make him feel any better but I sure did try.

In the basement is a pinball machine called Who Dunnit?

Alec was telling Erik on the phone later that evening that he played “Who did it”.

I didn’t have the heart to correct his proper English for improper English.  :)
