Scarborough Red Storm

Last night Erik and I took Alec to his first nighttime football game in Scarborough. We went to watch my friend Noni’s son Jack play in his last home game of his senior year. We only stayed until half time but we enjoyed watching the Red Storm crush their opponent.

The parents of the seniors were honored before the start of the game. The mom’s got roses and the parents walked their child on to the field. I must admit I had more than a few tears when it was their turn. The first time I met Jack, he was 5 and asking me to play with his toys with him. He’s all grow’d up now!

Jack is number 11…he’s worked REALLY hard to get to place of co-captain and starting quarter back.  Go Jack!

Erik, Alec, Noni and I went to the visitors side to sit. More room to move with better views, a little quieter and the best part …no wind!

A really bad action shot. Bummer.  I should have brought the Nikon!
