Erie PA

After spending 10 hours in the car on our way to Olean…the next morning Alec and I got back into the car and drove another hour and half to Erie, Pa.

Why?

For a little reunion. 

See, Erie is half way between Akron and Olean. 

A chance for the little boy cousins to spend a little time together. A nice little surprise for them!

 

 

 

It was a stunning ride.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Zoo seemed like a good place to meet up.  

I struggle with zoo’s.I hate to see animals in pens and small enclosures.

It makes me cry.

Every time. 

The boys enjoyed themselves- although I am pretty  sure you could stick them just about anywhere together and they would have been happy.

 

 

 

 

  The zoo was decorated for their Halloween Zoo Boo. I think this made it even more fun for the boys.  We had a super nice time visiting, watching the boys explore, learning about animals and spending what little time we had –just being together.  It is so nice that so much time can go by and they can still pick up where they left off.
