We celebrated Alec’s birthday a few days early (which we came to find out- was a great thing).
I had grand plans of making a construction hat cake –bought the yellow fondant and everything –I was ready but I ended up working late and I ran out of time. So here is what I came up with. Not too shabby for a last minute deal huh?
We did a little decorating.
I was thrilled when I remembered to get the chocolates that look rocks. The kids thought they were pretty neat!
Ben decided he was going for the cake…fork and all!
We played put the orange cone by the digger (think pin the tail on the donkey). Even Nanny. Blindfold and all.
We opened some presents after…
Ben really like the binoculars. Even backwards.
