We only did one park of Disney “World” while we were here. Call it what you will but we just couldn’t justify spending that kind of money for all the parks that he was likely to be overwhelmed by, exhausted by and quite frankly probably would not remember. So Magic Kingdom it was.

Yes folks…that is my father and my father-in-law reading the paper in Disney. Both were wishing they had brought their Kindles.
We took a side trip up to Orlando for a few days and met up with the other grandparents. 2 sets of grandparents and his parents- the odds were in Alec’s favor that a good spoiling was going to happen! Here are a few shots from around the hotel.
Erik is trying to smile but was so very sad because the waterslides at the hotel were broken while we were there.

After 4 hours in the pool –he came in to swim in the tub! Alec sure loves the water!

I don’t know about your library but ours doesn’t have:
a cool fountain
a children’s reading garden
Yes- they do have books too but I didn’t think I needed to take a picture of that!
We went out to dinner last night but I don’t have any fun pictures of that. It wasn’t so fun (although the family time was fabulous)- the restaurant ended up comp’ing our entire bill do to poor service.
One small thing out of a great day.
